The sword doesnt seem to be tied with mournblade, alucard sword will do fine, do like in the video, the 2 slam (one on wall and one on ferry) need to be replicate exactly the same way

Skip the first and last frozen shade, press attack button on as the ferry man starts to move? Weird procedures! Then after that, be in wolf form then be hurt by the last shade and the glitch is activated? Weird! Really weird!

I remember dim told me there was a trick about doing hellfire that broke the bridge, that might have a link... who knows ... im realy curious on how the game would glitch if you dont open the bridge before doing this


About "press ATK" i think he is just asking to backdash fast (shield trick)

He said press attack when he is on the top of the ferry man. The procedures are not connected to each other. First is the skip the first and last shades, how is it connected to the respawning items? I'll try it now!

Well there is no real explanation, coz its glitchs... im not too much worried about freaking procedures, im more worried if its fake or not, but nothing so far proove its false or true, beside that it would be realy lame to make twice the same cheat video, and not exposing it to public.... basicly its not him who posted it on gfaqs, i would not see the point of doing such, not bragging rights and yelling all around that he founded a awesome glitch


I guess the idea of getting hit/skipping shade is to overload the game (kinda like chapel video from bug)

I tried the glitch and it gave me different effect. I didn't found the effect shown in the vid. The items are still not there. The effect happened to me is to make the game SLOW. I activated the glitch two times (Slowmo effect) but I think it will just be activated when the wolf is in full speed and stop using the backdash+shield after the ferry man moves. Try running normally, the game is slowed and when you transform to wolf, the game is freezed. But as far as I see, the slowmo effect is something like "random glitch".

The game doesnt seem to be slow on his video, tough i think its recorded on emulator, the typo in menu is very sharp, smelling enhanced gpu

That's what i'm thinking; however, if that's not the case, then i wonder if it could go beyond that.

With cheat code you can display in menu 4 trillion HPs, but ingame the counter cant display that

Well, I did the procedures several times but the effect doesn't work. Sometimes, the game is completely slow and sometimes nothing is happening. Sometimes also, the sound of ferry man's boat can still be hear although you are already away. But the expected glitch cannot be activated.

tried it on US greatest hits version. after a couple tries i have success in replicating the glitch.

just like his video skip the first and last frozen shade, then jump and smack into that wall and attack as you slide down the wall. use the shield+backdash to go to the right either grav jump or jump on the boat lift and continue to backdash+shield back to the ferryman double jump out of the water and slash before you land on the boat. go to the frozen shade and turn to wolf (screen slows down starting now) get hit by shade. glitch activates. go to secret boots to see if they are there if there then you did it. my game was slowed down the whole time while i gathered the life ups a couple times. im not sure if it carries over to the next area's or not (ie through the cd room)

i have no clue why it works but it does. this being scene now could blow things wide open for what could happen elsewhere in the game since we dont quite understand the trigger.

I think first we need to narrow down what needs to be done to activate the glitch. we need to see what its required and what is not needed. most likely its an overload of things going on and we know that the shades produce a ton of slowdown before this (anyone doing this on a ps2 knows the shades slowdown that a lot)
