There is a person on gamefaqs that claims a 46second no subweapon richter intro speedrun. this would smash Deixadilson's 52second by 6 seconds.

I just want to see it lol, 45 seconds is freaking !

I think there is a little bit of luck involved as the last form dracula may not always jump. I noticed in deix's movie that dracula jumped 2 times on him and thats what killed his time. if you could get him to stay down you could just pound him down but if he jumped he takes 2-3 seconds to complete the jump

i talked to deix today and he gave me a screenshot of his 46sec no subweapon run. Arikado also submitted a 37sec subweapon time to me

Each method so far requires the same run-in sequence for fastest time. when you start uppercut and then bladedash all the way into dracs room.

No Subweapon Method: quad blade dash the first teleport and then triple bladedash the 2nd teleport. 2nd form you bladedash him on the floor that hits twice till he goes down. Drac may or may not jump. Im not sure if deix's time is with any jumps from drac or not. He will need to confirm at some time.

Subweapon method: 31-32 hearts required. you start with 30 so grab a couple in the room with drac. grab the holy water and hydrostorm form 1. Form 2 Hydrostorm and while he is taking hydro damage run over and throw a holy water and then whip like mad. takes about 4 whip hits with the holy water doing damage over time to finish it up.

I read somewhere dracula 2nd form dont always take same damage, and indeed i think its true, sometimes it can go faster, i think it depend on if hes going to fly or shoot fire ball, but well i dont know much

I tryed many time and only once i could defeat him with 4 whip and 1 holy water after hydro, i dont realy figured why it went so fast, but then i tryed many time and even if he take more hit, i could do 38seconds


The first form is definitly always ko when you aim right the hydro, and i dont see anyway to make it faster

Deixa's movie shows how to start with good status and his idea was not create a new record.

Pale-dim don't forget to put emu or console in the records. You can do a air-dashes pretty easy in a emu (up, down, fw + att).

Well if i remember well deixa video come from an emulator but anyway, i did played low frame rate

And btw, the 24min speedrun have a 37sec timer

I thought the Gamefaqs user (justicezero if I remember correctly) had 46 seconds too, so why is Deixadilson the only one holding the record if he had the same time too?

Because these are WBW times. if justicezero was to sign up here his name would be on there too. :)

Forget it, that justicezero just degraded his reputation just now by being somewhat "stupid" on gamefaqs, I say Deixa's still the man.

Well, I don't if I did this but as far as I remember, I made 34 seconds w/ subweapons.

I don't know how long did I took, since I am not looking on my time attack.
But when I saw the

37 seconds

The thing that came up to my mind repeatedly is I made a faster run than this 37 seconds.


I don't know what is the exact time but I'm "half" sure that I beat this time.

I just can't remember my time that's why I am "half" sure. And I thought the fastest time is 24 seconds. So I tried to beat it.

check with your time attack and let us know because 37 seconds has been that way for a long time. 2 hydro storms and a couple hits is all it takes. thats with uppercut+bladedash all the way from the start to the room and then 2 hydro's and a few hits for the kill. im not sure how you can shave off 3 seconds but if you have a faster method we would sure like to hear it.

What I did is to do run and jump combination to get up to the top of the stairs.
Then I started to make a chain of slides to quickly go to Dracula.

I took 2 hearts in Dracula's room (disregarding the first one) then took the holy water.

I used one holy water when he teleports and I went near him to slash him with whip repeatedly to make him fall quickly.

Then I timed his transformation, I used hydro storm and the rain hit him as he transformed into vulnerable state.

Then I used one holy water, uppercut and whip him as Richter goes down, with 2 whips, he died.

I was surprised about that. He died quicker than I expected!

In my video, the one with 52s... I lost time because e went to the upper room just to show it's possible to go there without activate the switch to lower the stairs.

The time I made 46s I really don't remember if drac did any jump

Yes, it's true, but it's no only Dracula's 2nd form, it's all the enemies in the game...
And it didn't depend on if he's going to fly or shoot fire balls. It's "just luck". We call this Critical hit! xD
