Richter Speedrun

New postby Deixadilson on 16 Sep 07, 21:08

We have a topic for regular Alucard game speedruns and for Richter's prologue speedrun but didn't have a Richter mode speedrun till then.

So, I wanted to know oficially. Is my video the best time for Richter game with 6 minutes and 18 seconds?

There seems to be other Richter speedrun with a bit seconds faster than mine, but it finishes at the final save point. Mine stops counting at last hit on shaft. I think that if I stopped at the final save point I could get a better time than the other guy's video :P

Não sabia dessa! Seu tempo consiste em zerar completamente o jogo?!

Creio que sua speed-run é mais rápida! Procure no youtube por bug7139, pois foi ele quem gravou. :P

most speed runs end at the final save room. check with your run and see what time you figure you would have hit the final savepoint. I think the old record was 6:08 when finished the save point.

For me, like most speedruns, the speedrun stops on final save point

My vid takes 6 minutes and 18 seconds untill last hit on shaft.

How much time you think it takes to get the elevator, entering the final room and beat Shaft?

Its a joker question, in the jap first edition you could even skip shaft and enter dracula room, hahaha

Seriously its probably like 15 sec at least, i dont remember if load times are counted in chrono or not

If you save the game i guess you can see the timer on mem card screen for last save point

The idea of taking the last save point as reference is quite logic to me, its the last time attack event in alucard game, and beating dracula is not having any other meaning than to watch the ending ^^

Hey, can you make it a "video response" to the 6:08 vid that I uploaded in Youtube? You know, so those vids are connected.

5:56 in Final SP, or 6:18 after Shaft, is both amazing, IMO, no comparisons should be done. I'm also still amazed by the 6:08 by the Japanese because it was done years ago.
